Attorney Bios

When a case sounds like "Mission: Impossible" at Bonina & Bonina, the first name that comes to mind is Andrea's.

As the Partner responsible for management of both complex litigation and auto liability, Andrea is in charge of daily management of product liability, construction, labor law, and all auto cases in the office. This compliments her role as managing attorney for the firm, as her familiarity with the court room has helped her focus the firm on efficiency and technology.

Andrea was originally worked on the Medical Negligence Unit. Andrea had many favorable outcomes and settlements as a young trial attorney.

Her courtroom success led to her promotion as Partner in charge of complex litigation and product liability cases.

In that capacity Andrea has successfully handled both State and Federal Court cases against major auto manufacturers for design defects in their vehicles, successfully fought foreign corporations who imported defective products such as stepladders, chairs and office equipment into the United States and she has held major industrial equipment manufacturers responsible for selling unguarded machinery that injured workers.

The skills she developed fighting medical malpractice and complex liability claims have taught Andrea how to work with experts and how to develop and present complicated issues in a simple fashion.

She was recognized by the NYS Trial Lawyers Institute, which invite her to lecture to young lawyers on the subject of cross examination of expert witnesses. Additionally Andrea writes a monthly article called The Tort Report which summarizes recent Appellate rulings in the area of Tort Law in the Brooklyn Bar Association's publication The Brooklyn Barrister.
