- Dangerous toy recalls: Defective toys that were recently recalled include plush toys recommended for children between the ages 1 and 3 that posed a choking hazard and children’s rings that contained high levels of lead and posed a risk of lead poisoning to young children.
- Defective child seat recalls: Defective car seats, defective child seats and defective booster seats recently recalled included booster seats that were improperly manufactured and were too weak in strength, violating federal safety standards. Defective child seat recalls also included more than 20 different models of Century (Graco Children’s Products) child seats with a defective adjustor that attached the seat to the car.
